Dear Gentlemen,
On November 11, 2023, during my visit to Lulu Shopping Center at Capital Mall, I redeemed ADCB touch points for 126.50 AED. Although the confirmation message from ADCB indicated 25300 touch points redeemed, the cash counter officer claimed the transaction was incomplete and requested an additional payment.
Upon discussing this issue with your duty executive, I was assured that the double transaction would be rectified within two days and the extra payment refunded.
I spent considerable timearound one and a half hoursdealing with this matter. However, after waiting for a week, there was no resolution. My inquiries to the bank confirmed that the transaction was indeed completed at Lulu store and reflected in my monthly statement.
Despite my subsequent visits on November 17, 2023, November 27, 2023, and December 1, 2023, there has been no satisfactory response from your staff. They advised me to contact the bank, but after approaching them, the transaction's completion was verified through the statement.
I've invested nearly 10 hours and made four visits in attempts to resolve this matter without success.
The disappointing response from Lulu wasn't anticipated, and it's significantly undermining my trust in their services.
This situation appears to be a violation of consumer rights as outlined in Federal Law No. 15 on Consumer Protection.
Your immediate action on this matter would be highly appreciated.
